Some things to point out

I need to update my journal and like to let you guys know that I'm officially retiring from doing fanart or any kind of postings. I no longer have the urge to draw the things I fangirl over and far too old to be drawing stuff like that. Hell, I haven't improved in my drawing at all since I joined Deviantart. So yeah, I'll just stick around to comment and view and that's about it.

Shallow Fan

Lately I've been getting into several fandoms. First Danny Phantom, then The Impossibles, Doctor Who and now I'm gushing over a game called Don't Starve. I treat my interests like a shallow bimbo treats her dates. Be all dedicated at first, then get all bored, dump it like trash and move on to find the new object of affection. Guess I'm just afraid of commitments.

It's been a while since I posted a new journal so here are some stuff that happened to me so far. I've developed some tolerance for oranges, green tea and zucchini. I also developed a new fandom towards JTHM so I might make some fanart on that(you are warned). Oh yeah, and I'm graduating this May with a masters degree in English.

V-day

Tomorrow marks my least favorite holiday. For thirteen days, I have to put up looking at pinkish gifts and treats while shopping at Walmart. Countless commercials about what to buy for your valentine, rubbing it in to discourage singles to feel content with being on our own. I would buy a box of chocolates for myself if I wasn't on a diet.

I'm suppose to reflect on the things that happened this year on New Years, but considering the big hoopla over December 21, I might as well start right now. This year brought an end to a lot of things: the death of Whitney Houston and Edd Gould(creator of EddsWorld), the end of the Nostalgia Critic, ICarly(not that I care, but just saying for the sake of the fans of that show if any), twinkies, Nintendo Power magazine, the media circus known as the presidential election race and the world if we're lucky. Even if we make it to Dec. 22, what will the future hold for us to fill the void left by the great things we have lost? I don't know and I don't care, I'm too much in a humbugger mood to think about this right now.
